Tandoor opened in 1975 by Mr. Jack Katyal and experienced 40 years of success in Georgetown. He was first to introduce Tendoori style cuisine to the Washington DC metro area. The restaurant received great awards to include the Blue Ribbon Award from Washingtonian Magazine for several years.
